When I taught English to several Japanese children aged 7 and younger,/ I was (a ) ( ) (h ) (n ) (t ) (u ) English.
Some already had several years of English exposure, and others less.

To these kids, they weren't really "learning" a language. They were playing with it.

But the moment they entered the classroom, they knew that it was English Time and did not utter a word of Japanese, even when playing with their Japanese classmates.
To these kids, they weren't really "learning" a language.
They were playing with it.
They were getting used to it. That's what learning should be — making a habit of something so that it becomes natural to you.
